Mary Seacole

So this is the fifth in my Historical Trainers series (not sure what to call it: series, collection, or what?). This is Mary Seacole!

Mary Seacole was a famous war nurse that worked during the Crimean War. She is frequently confused with Florence Nightingale, another Crimean War nurse. Seacole set up a boarding house for sick and injured soldiers called the British Hotel close to the front of the war. She also worked during battles to help wounded soldiers. Team Seacole! Florence Nightingale never got close enough to danger to be a hero like that. . .
